Alexander Wendler, a former executive of Transport for NSW and Macquarie Capital, has been appointed CEO of Landcom.

Wendler will commence his new post on May 30, 2022, following a thorough recruiting process conducted by Landcom's Board of Directors.

Colliers has engaged seasoned healthcare transaction specialist Ian Sanders as its new Head of Healthcare & Retirement Living, in a strategic move designed to reinforce and grow the firm's current strengths.

Sanders joins Colliers with over 20 years of experience in the health sector, first as a service provider in banking and finance, and then as a governance leader working with non-profits in the aged care sector.

He was most recently a corporate and institutional finance business executive at St George Bank as Head of Health and NAB Health as Director Corporate.

ISPT has appointed Luke Briscoe as Group Executive, Investor Solutions. He brings 25 years of experience of investment management to the team, having worked at AMP Capital, Charter Hall and the GPT Group.

Kate Mathewson has been promoted to IRAPT's Fund Manager, with responsibility for the Fund's investment strategy, capital deployment, investor engagement, and growth. Mathewson joined ISPT in 2016 as National Portfolio Manager, Retail Services, bringing with her 30 years of business and leadership expertise.

Simon Baird has also been promoted, being named IRAPT's Deputy Fund Manager, a newly created position due to the Fund's growing size. Baird joined ISPT in 2018 as Fund Analyst for IRAPT, bringing 10 years of expertise in the banking and property industries.

Buchan has welcomed two new senior associates to its global design team in Sydney, as the business continues on its upward trajectory.

Nataly Ernst joins the studio as Senior Associate, Architecture, and Marcin Zugaj as Senior Associate, Interior Design.

PRD, a national real estate firm, has welcomed Robert Ferguson to their network, appointing him as Queensland Business Consultant. 

Ferguson will collaborate closely with PRD's Queensland offices, assisting them in refining their branding, sales, and property management strategies, as well as assisting new offices that join the network. Ferguson's real estate career has seen him sell residential property, manage two real estate offices, and constantly surpass sales objectives with over 14 years of expertise. He was also voted the top selling agent in his region for four consecutive years.

Matthew Faddy has started as CEO of Avenor, prior to this he spent over 15 years at the GPT Group, most recently as the Head of Office and Logistics, during which he was Chair of the Property Council’s Cities Roundtable for five years.

Following Andrew Roy's anticipated relocation to Australia at the end of the year, Mark Burke-Damaschke has joined GHD's New Zealand/Pacific division as Operations Manager - Environment and Buildings. Damaschke will be in charge of project delivery across numerous sectors, including justice, defence, and education, when he officially takes office in July.

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in South Australia has a new team in place following the appointment of Liam Harrison as Senior Associate and Tony Catanzariti, Danny Duffy and Liam Feighery as Associates.

Liam Harrison, senior associate, joined RLB as a Cadet in 2002 and has since amassed an excellent portfolio of expertise across several sectors.

Tony Catanzariti, associate, is an experienced electrical engineering consultant who has obtained cost planning and estimating experience via significant construction and civil infrastructure projects in South Australia. He joined the RLB team in 2017, bringing 25 years of electrical engineering services experience, and has swiftly established himself as our engineering services estimating team leader, increasing the estimating team from two to six devoted employees.

Danny Duffy, associate, joined RLB in 2021 after working as a senior estimator for a prominent Adelaide-based Civil Contractor for the previous ten years, bringing significant construction industry expertise.

Liam Feighery, associate, has experience working in a wide range of industrial sectors and on difficult and challenging projects. He has established excellent industry ties with key tertiary education customers and has established himself as a "go to" person for cost guidance, value management, and superintendent services.

Georgie Gilding has come home to take up the position as National Communications & PR Specialist for Metricon, a house builder. She has spent the last 12 years in the UK, working with clients such as Amazon Disney, Samsung, BT, Toninio Lamborghini, Harman Kardon, JBL, Netgear, Gordon's Gin, Pimms, and Pringles. Georgie also created and oversaw events for the BT Digital Music Awards, the Olympic Stage in Hyde Park, and the BMW Ryder Cup.
